The Cultural Commission does not direct Churches – SocrateSafo

The Director of Creative Art at the National Commission on culture has said the commission does not give directives to the church.
He was speaking to Caleb Nii Boye on 3FMs Showbiz 927 this weekend when he was asked about churches setting record labels to assist talent.
He explained the Church’s involvement in things outside of the gospel is their own judgement, making reference to instances where it has been possible but has not been a biblical directive.
He refered to the work of apostle Paul, saying: “Any other thing that any other human being with his own wisdom mandates is surplus, just as Apostle Paul advised the various Churches that what he was giving them was not based on a biblical directive but on his own understanding and interpretation of the challenges facing them.”
He went on to say that the church branching into other things does not allow his office and commission make policies and directives to them.
Mr Safo said that: I do not run a church. The mandate of my office is not extending to direct Churches. If you are in a church that is not helping you it is up to you to advise yourself. The Commission on Culture Does not direct Churches”
