I don’t believe your status can corrupt your morality – Bulldog

Bulldog has said that one’s morality is not necessarily corrupted by one’s status and fame.

The record producer was part of a panel on 3FM’s Showbiz 927 with host Caleb Nii Boye.

The panel which included Soraya and Nii Ayi Tagoe spoke at length about the R-Kelly sentencing and whether ones stardom can and does corrupt the morality of creatives in general.

While rejecting that position Bulldog stated one’s status doesn’t corrupt but actually amplifies the corruption already in them.

He said during the interview that “I don’t believe that your status can corrupt your morality. I believe that your status can only enhance what you already are.”

He emphasized that just as it is with R-Kelly, an individual who is already morally corrupt to begin with will use their status to amplify that corruption already in them. He added saying “You just amplify what you are already are and in R-Kelly’s case it is kind of sad.”

Bulldog didn’t end there, stating similar issues do go on in the Ghanaian industry and that time will eventually bring those cases to light.

He told the panel that: “There are a lot of things happening down here in Ghana. Maybe they will end up like R-Kelly or in the future you will hear some of them. Those people think they have gotten away with it but time has a way of revealing a lot of things.”
