Churches can help in Nation Building if leaders allow the Church to lead but not the stomach to lead- Rev Abraham Lamptey
The Founder and Leader of Believer’s House of Worship International has said that the church can play a role in Nation Building. He has added though that it can happen only if the country’s allow the Church to lead instead of “their stomachs.”
During his interview with Caleb Nii Boye the revered televangelist and man of God was asked the role that the church can play in Nation Building.
He mentioned that if they have managed to build megachurches from tiny ministries then they have the wisdom of God to help them lead the nation.
Rev Lamptey pointed this out when he said that: “if churches are being managed things are going well in the churches then you should know that there is something about the God the church is serving that is capable of making the church improve and develop.”

He made reference to the apparent strength in leadership of many of the megachurches in the country, saying “Every Megachurch you see started small So if the founders have been able to make the church big and make investment then there is some wisdom in that God that can help you lead a nation.”
He pointed out the comparison of Megachurches to that of the nation, stating that because the church is not allowed to lead, but rather the greed of those in charge is what leads the nation.
He added that: “Church can play a major role in Nation building if the leaders will allow the Church lead but not the stomach to lead. But when they get there power makes you (leaders) think you are bigger than the church that graced you to get there.”
