P-Square have Lost that Magic – Soraya Opare-Riley
The managing partner of Backstage access has said that the Nigerian Duo have lost that magic that made fans love them.
While speaking as a panelist with Caleb Nii Boye, she explained what that magic that made them “P-Square” was.
Soraya explained that the X-factor, or the magic, behind the duo was the fact that they were identical twins, and that was what made fans love them. She said: “I believe that P-Square have Lost their magic, and that magic was based on the fact that they were twins. We loved them because they were brothers, and that’s what we liked about them.”

She went on to say that that particular magic was no more, because: “Now in their search for individuality they don’t even look the same anymore.”
She added that the loss of that magic would hamper their success because the music industry in Nigeria had changed. She said that: “The Nigerian music scene is not in that space anymore. You can’t just shoot a nice video and then that’s it. You have to bring something to the table.”
