 Okyeame Kwame didn’t really believe in Crunk Music – Andy Dosty

Andy Dosty has pointed out that Okyeame Kwame didn’t believe in Crunk Music when it first started.

The Host of Daybreak Hitz in an interview woth Caleb Nii Boye shared  details of his Collaboration on Asem’s “Give me Blow” remix, which is touted as the originator of Crunk in Ghana.

While speaking about the artist’s he got on board for the collaboration he mentioned how Okyeame Kwame declined his offer to feature on the song.

“Okyeame Kwame was the first person I approached to do the feature for the song, but he refused,” the host of Daybreak Hitz said during his interview.

He continued, saying: “Kwame didn’t believe in Crunk Music and he felt it was something that wouldn’t last. He said it wouldn’t work”.

Kwame after series of talks by Andy went to the Lynx Entertainment boss and ended up with a hit single WOSO which won him Artist of the Year, HipHop Song Of the Year, Hiplife/HipHop artist of the Year and the Best Music Video Of The Year at 2009 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
