Don’t Think You Will Forever Hide Under The FIFA Policy—Kwame Gyan Warns GFA

Back to football:

Our FA should not think they can forever hide under the FIFA policy of no interference in football to fool us.

Thing is, football has become so global and scientific that most people outside the FA probably understand the game better than them.

You need not be an expert to know that our team selection cost us. Kurt and his people cannot pretend we don’t know that some players were used because it made personal business sense to them than the interest of the state.

I am reading that Gideon Mensah, that fantastic full back we had against Korea was fit but for some silly reason Otto Addo and his people overlooked him and settled on Kurt’s Baba Rahman. If this was a military regime, Kurt should be taken to some military barracks and whipped with a cane.

We all watch football.
We understand football way better than the FA thinks.

Kurtz Okraku- GFA President

If the state is going to keep pushing our meagre tax money into the FA, we must not allow them to do as they please. That nonsense must stop.

Gone are the days you send scouts to watch games not on TV. These days virtually every important league can be watched on TV. So we know Baba Rahman for example, though a Chelsea player, will keep going out on loan in the Championship in England till his contract ends and he ends up in the Slovenia or Estonia 3rd tier.

And why did we keep Kamaldeen away that long? We get players but if those in charge of our football will keep treating it like their private property, they shouldn’t turn around and create a hashtag to get us to support them and they should no as hell run to FIFA and shout interference when it is they who are interfering with the growth of our game.

You see the squad we have, take out a few misfits like Baba and get a coach who has balls and common sense and see if we will not win an AFCON before the next World Cup.
