Chef Smith owes the Media an apology – Caleb Nii Boye.

Caleb Nii Boye, a Ghanaian Entertainment journalist has expressed his displeasure over Ghanaian Chef, Ebenezer Smith’s disinformation over his Guinness World Record Title.

Chef Smith organized a press conference on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 which saw the attendance of some media houses to announce his status as the current record holder for the longest-cooking marathon by an individual.

Further investigations later revealed that Chef Smith’s claim and certificate were fake. The Guinness World Records denied issuing the certificate to Chef Smith.

In the wake of public disappointment towards the Chef’s deceptive move, Caleb Nii Boye is calling for an apology from Chef Smith to the media.

“Chef smith needs to apologise and provide answers for the numerous questions asked.
He can’t pretend not to see them because he called the media to that press conference.
Though he didn’t get enough support during his marathon he announcing of the results got the nation on cloud 9.
He owes the media an apology and it must be now.” he said.

Earlier reports also indicate that Chef Smith was arrested by the police for breach of contract between himself and his official sponsor, Amadia Shopping Centre.
